Ethics

The commitments this practice is built on.

Psychology is a regulated profession, but codes on paper are only as good as the practice around them. What follows is what those codes mean in this specific room.

Confidentiality

Nothing said here leaves this room without you.

Sessions are private by default. Nothing is disclosed to employers, insurers, family members, embassies, or third parties without your explicit written consent, save for the narrow exceptions any psychologist is bound by — imminent risk to life, and the legal reporting duties that apply to every practitioner in Thailand.

No testimonials

This site publishes no client reviews or quotations.

Publishing what former clients say about their therapy — even with permission — sits uneasily with the confidentiality this work depends on. In place of testimonials, we offer transparency: clear fees, a clear approach, and a first conversation at no cost so you can decide for yourself.

Scope of practice

Honesty about what this practice does and does not treat.

This is an adult, out-patient psychology practice. It is not the right setting for acute psychiatric emergencies, court-ordered assessments, custody evaluations, or work with children and adolescents. Where you would be better served elsewhere, referral is offered — always.

Dual relationships

Clarity about roles.

I do not enter therapeutic relationships with people I know socially, professionally, or through family connections. Where such overlaps appear during ongoing work, they are discussed openly and, if needed, the work is transferred to a trusted colleague.

Data protection

PDPA-aligned, minimal by design.

The practice complies with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Records are minimal, held on an encrypted device in Thailand, and destroyed when clinical retention periods end. No cloud diary apps, no shared drives, no third-party AI transcription — ever.

Complaints

You are welcome to raise concerns.

Any concern about the conduct of therapy or of the practitioner can be raised directly in a session, in writing, or with the Thai Psychological Association and — where applicable — the UK Health & Care Professions Council. Contact details are available on request.
